The courage to live the dream

Did I have the courage to live mine? If I was going to do what I love, I had to put my money where my mouth was.

Someone once said, Do what you love and abundance will follow, or something similar. So, I did it. I resigned from my job of 19 years and it feels wonderful. It's all right, it didn't make any foolish decisions but I DID need more time.

So, I leave my job in exactly one month. December 16th to be precise, and as the clock ticks relentlessly on, the more excited I become.

Trapped colleagues look at me with something akin to envy, and disbelief, and say negative things like, Are you sure? What if you fail. What if. what if...

I just smile and tell them it feels right. I know I've done the right thing.

I'll need the time. I have three submissions "out there", a trilogy in the pipeline as well as one-off stories that I desperately want to tell. Then there's the six-book series that ... You get the picture.

So here I am counting down to life's great adventure. A fulltime writer of romance novels. It even sounds good.

Wish me luck
